COVID-19 Change and Re-Arrange Program
Dear Patron:
My name is Vivian Williams-Wilhite, and I am the President of Women of Prayer, Praise & Power (WOPPP). We are a 501c3 organization that provides a mentoring and coaching program for adolescent males and females. The group for the males is called FRATS and the female group is called RUBIES. I am writing you seeking your support for our programs’ positive process improvement called, “COVID-19 Change and Re-Arrange.” We are in desperate need of a revitalization for our “Enrichment Ground” in order that we may make it Covid-19 safe. We are in the process of converting enrichment area into a safe space for our programs. Our goal is to continue to provide appropriate and effective assistance to young males and females to promote a healthier and more positive thought process of themselves, and we need your support to make this happen.
As you are aware of the Covid-19 pandemic and its severe impact on our nation, we need to continue to reach out and provide avenues of support for our adolescents through this drastic period of change. Our programs promote and encourage emotional stability, as well as provide safe, loving, and stimulating environments to help with mental stability. We are asking for monetary and non-monetary support to convert our encampment grounds and garden area for our necessary safe use. Our encampment ground is approximately 1⁄2 acre of space. We are converting a previous playground into a more spacious activity and serenity area as well as expand our garden area. Our project renovation cost is approximately $70,000.00.
